BLS is fundamental to all cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Competence in Basic Life Support is a prerequisite for enrolment for all advanced-level training provided by the European Resuscitation Council.
Basic life support (BLS) and, when possible, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) is the first level of care for a person in cardiac arrest. During European Resuscitation Council (ERC) BLS/AED Provider courses, certified instructors will guide and support you in the learning process.
The ILS course has a high ratio of instructors to candidates (1:6). The face-to-face teaching is mainly delivered in small groups with hands-on practical skill stations.
